Pens practice at Southpointe, 4/26/2013

The Pens practiced at Southpointe Friday and they were joined by team captain Sidney Crosby.  It was a welcome sight just days before the start of the most anticipated playoff run in four years.

The poor lighting at Southpointe usually defeats my limited camera skills but I managed to get a few decent shots.  Check them out after the jump, including a couple of sweet sock pics involving some of the newer Penguins.

The big dog may be eating his meals north of the border now but for some reason his twigs have been left behind.  Interesting, I couldn't tell who was using them.

Most of my focus was on the new guys.

Of course you know Tanger's going to find his way into the post.

Recently acquired goaltender Eric Hartzell manned the net opposite Tomas Vokoun.

Wake up, rookie!

Fans who waited after practice were not disappointed as a car filled with Iginla, Jokinen, Murray and Morrow stopped to sign autographs and take photos.

More photos tomorrow night after the game against Jordan Staal and the Canes.
