Back to the action...

Matt Cooke saw an opportunity to let the NHL show they are ready to be tough on head shots.

The Pens were handling the 5-minute penalty kill that resulted from Cooke's hit pretty well. Kunitz put the Pens in front with the shorthanded goal.

"Dirty Ryan" Callahan was ready to give up the body to get his team back in the game.

Matt Niskanem obliged. His high stick found Callie's nose, giving the Rangers a lengthy 2-man advantage.

The Rangers struck for a pair of goals just 11 seconds apart before the power play was over.

The Pens put on a bit of pressure but the Rangers added another pair of goals, including the empty-netter for a much needed 5-2 win.
