Pittsburgh beat Washington 3-2 (SO) at Verizon Center Thursday night in the first meeting of the season between the two teams. The Penguins got a pair of points from Sidney Crosby, who extended his points streak to 23 games, and the shootout winner from Pascal Dupuis.
