Game Photos: Pens vs Flyers Game 5

The Pittsburgh Penguins improbable comeback from what was a 3-0 series deficit to the Philadelphia Flyers continued Friday night at Consol Energy Center. Our photos from the game after the jump.

Backs against the wall, the Pens asked their fans to show up ready to lay it all on the line.  The scene inside and outside the arena was electric.

Let's hope Cy washed his hands after touching that piece of crap.

Great shirt below.

It was tempting to remain in the total party atmosphere with the crowd outside that gathered to watch the game on Mario's TV.  But the real business was going down inside.

For the Flyers, a bit of good news as forward James Van Riemsdyk was ready to return to action.

Iceburgh was in playoff form, sporting the scarf knitted for him by Pens Knitting Lady.

Looking for a big night from Flower.

LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!

After falling behind 1-0 midway through the first, the Pens power play sets up for Steve Sullivan's tying goal.

The Pens held a 3-2 lead after two periods, then looked to Fleury to bail them out in the third.

Bryzgalov heads to the bench to get the extra attacker on in the closing minutes.

The Flyers got more chances but simply couldn't solve Fleury in the third.

The series now shifts back to Philly for game 6 where the Flyers will have another chance to end the Pens' playoff hopes.  Something tells me that isn't going to happen, and we'll be back in Pittsburgh for game 7.

LET'S GO PENS!!!
